After me slick and my little brother departed from each other at the safe house slick had a couple miles out of town, i decided to go to the bar by Marios on black ave. I felt like I needed to get my mind away...away from all the stresses in the world, so i went in sat down and ordered a beer with two shots. As my mind started roam and my eyes started to lower, I noticed a picture of Switzie Salinskey, how the picture got in the bar I did not know, all i know is that she looked happy really happy and that acne she had when we were in high school had disappeared. She looked good really good, or maybe that was the alcohol in my system. I ordered up about 4 more rounds and left. I walked home tired and head hanging, but right before I stepped i the lobby of finch pointe, i saw a turquoise teddy bear lying on the ground. Its funny because at any other time if i would have saw the bear i would have walked past it and let stay there but today was different, i picked up the bear and went to my room. As i sat in the dark only the moonlight to light up the room. I kept wondering why i took the bear, then it came to me. Jordan! my eyes wide open and hands clutching the bear harder and harder. I couldn't hold back the tears "she was only 11" i kept saying, as my voice went from grieving to anger. "SHE WAS ONLY 11" i shouted to the darkness. My voice faded out and all i could do is cry. My baby sister, i loved her so much "why god why" i said and as i began to breakdown. I could picture her smiling at me that she on the day she died so beautiful just like our mother. When my phone rang i picked it up and and all i heard is my brother crying on the phone "do you know what day it is?" ask my little brother then it struck me like lighting when it hits a tree in forest. It was her birthday she was 8 years younger then me. she would have been 20 today...........

thsh blatitatat need new tattoo artist huh well if i could even draw a stick figure i would try out for the job. haha too bad ya boy only good for fades and line ups, but if I every had to give some one a tat it probably would be this chick Miranda lowe i seen around the donut shop a couple of times. I would give her some angle wings on that nice little back of hers because she look like she fell straight from heaven. well that is all for now i got to get back to work, money calls..........

"hss hss, you wunna hit dis Jose?"I said as i passed the blunt to my home boy slickback."yea mane lemme get that after you slick" "i got you pimp" it was another day at the job. me slick and my little brother jose was in the backroom of the barbershop me and my brother owned, rollin up and watchin some of the bullshit they put on t.v. "aye pimp. turn it to channel 2 news, they got a new weather girl and she looks like she can be a future employee". "hahah iight slick" after watching the fine weather girl and hearing how many positions slickback would put her in we came across a story that the bowling alley was robbed "hahaha thats what they get, nobody goes bowling anymore" said jose, "thats what we should do" said slickback "what?" i said shocked "we should rob somebody, we can PAID!" "Man you crazy do you actually think us, two barbers and a pimp could rob sombody and get away with it? they will catch us before we get to spend the money" "not if we robbed that celebrity thats in town" said jose "how we going to do that?" "catch him when he get back to his hotel" "Im down wit it pimp" said slick. "iight if we are going to do this, we going to do this rite". after hours of planning we finally get ready to hit this celebrity up. "he where? okay." said slickback getting off his phone with one of his girls. "he is at queens rite now getting ready to leave" "iight lets do this" after we follow this dude around for about 45 minutes, he finally pulls up at his hotel, we give him bout 15 mins to get up in his room then....BAM! it took 15 mins in and out. jus how we planned it.........

A rude awakening

BOOM! "WTF was that" I said to myself. I quickly hurried to my window to see a cloud of smoke pass and completely block my vision......Fire flame...flame.flame Fire flame spitta. "Hello" "Aww nigga You Wont believe this"...."whats going on" "The Damn Carnival is on fire pimp" said my good friend slickback. "Its flames everywhere, and hoes everywhere to.. hey baby stop running i'll protect you. Its so much potential out here. i'll call you back pimpin" "Naw. im on my way" i said. As I get out of my building BOOM! AHHHHHH! "Damn I have to hurry".As I pull up in my charger, I see parents running out with their children barely holding on. "OVER HERE PIMPIN". I look to my left and see slickback in his all white suit with his green gators. "what happened" I yelled. "I dont know, I was up here making my daily rounds on my hoes and tyring to recruit when..BAM!, everything went up in flames". "Im going in to try and help, you coming slick". "ummmm let me think..............Hell no, i jus bought this suit and i dont need dead people ashes on it. it would be mighty exspensive at the dry cleaners. are you going to pay my cleaners bill umm i think not. so go ahead and be the hero i'll be out here". As I run in the smoke to try and find someone in trouble I could here a faint cry. As i speed up my pace the cry gets louder and louder until... i see a young women cryin trapped behind the water gun gate. I run up and ask what happen but as i do she screams louder and points behind me. I look and see that the fire is comin towards us so without another word, I use my strength to break open the gate and carry this young lady to saftey. As we get to where I left slickback i notice that this girl is very good looking. i sit here down and look into her eyes and tell her it will be okay. As we talk and make sure she is okay the fire department finally get there "slow ass niggas. look at them ridin on clifford the big red dog" says slickback. "So whats your name"? "Cassidy, but my friends call me cassy. what about you" "Elijah but my friends call me Eli" as the fire fighter comes over and ask Cassidy she okay i say "well im glad your okay, ithink my jobs done" "Thank you i really appreciate it, with out you i would have died" "Just tryin to help" i said.

A funny greeting

Instead of walking straight through the parking lot across the street to get to work, I decided to take the long way up Moth street. While walking to work i stopped at the donut shop right next to my building. As I strolled in getting greetings from those who worked there, I noticed it was a little crowded in the store, as i made my way to the counter I also noticed the smell of cooked piggly wiggly meat. As I looked to my left to see what was the smell. I gazed upon some nappy haired dude with a BBQ stain on his ripped jeans, devouring a jelly filled donut. As i got my Coca Frappe, the nappy haired dude gets up and walks out leaving a jelly trail behind him. I laugh and tell the cashier that the guy needs to come visit me at In the Cut. We laugh for a minute and then I leave. As i get on swizer street walking past Gimme dat pawn i get a call from one of my barbers. I walk in to see them all looking through the window at somebody across the street in the old stadium. I put my things down and start looking trying to figure out who this man was. After he runs his two laps we finally get a look at his face...... It was the nappy haired guy from the donut shop. I tell them who he is and the story about the piggly wiggly smell, we all laugh and go back to work.. Just another day

Today was just like every other day. I woke up to the sound of my iphone alarm, So i turned over in my king size bed to turn off the lil wayne blasting in my ear. But today was a little different, as i arose from my bed I could hear the sound of car horns blowing outside my window. I walked over and looked out my 21st floor window to see a Piggly Wiggly truck stuck in the middle of the street with a chain of cars behind it. I then returned to start my morning routine. As i left my apartment in the Finche Pointe housing I looked up into the sky to see that there was not one site of blue in it, I then thought to myself "today was going to be a slow day"
